Febre em todo o mundo, para onde quer que se olhe há vampiros. Nos livros, filmes e séries de televisão há, no mínimo, um representante destas criaturas. Não é de se surpreender, portanto, a grande presença destes títulos no 36º People's Choice Awards.
Anunciados no dia 10 de novembro, em conferência oficial do prêmio, concorrem em 31 categorias que abrangem nomes da música, televisão e cinema. Os fãs podem votar em seus favoritos no site www.peopleschoice.com/pca/vote/.
Promovido pelo canal norte-americano CBS, o prêmio é realmente feito pelo público, que escolhe desde os indicados. Em votação online, foram escolhidos os cinco candidatos que concorreriam em cada categoria. Os vencedores serão anunciados no dia 6 de janeiro de 2010, em cerimônia apresentada pela atriz Queen Latifa no Nokia Theatre, em Los Angeles, e transmitido, para os Estados Unidos, pela CBS.
